Help us invest in our future! Your generous support will go directly towards the mission of the Cape May County Zoological Society.
As the Cape May County Zoological Society looks towards the upcoming year, the organization is putting a focus on raising funds for capital projects planned for this year, and into the future of the Cape May County Park & Zoo.
Projects include enhancements to the animal habitats throughout the zoo, plans to bring in new species and spaces throughout the park, upgrades to park services and grounds, and improvements on enrichment experiences to increase visitor engagement.
This is an opportunity for our annual supporters to see a direct result of their giving, and we thank you, in advance for your generosity.
Six red kangaroos have joined the Zoo in 2022: three females (Gertroode, Proodence, and Roothie) and three males (Regis, Jenga, and Ollie). Hop by and say hi!
Grant, the new male emu, lives in the kangaroo habitat. Did you know emus are the second tallest birds in the world?!
These largest members of the Toucan family can be found in a brand new habitat in our South American section of the Zoo, including an indoor viewing so you can see these beautiful birds anytime of the year.
Inspire all growing minds to appreciate and respect the world around us. By teaching about our environment, and all wildlife that inhabits it, we can create a strong foundation to better preserve the natural world.
Visiting our Zoo and our Education Department programs allows children
and adults to discover more of the world around them by providing hands on experiences, encouraging participation
NOW LET'S WORK
Along with participating in many AZA approved conservation programs, including the Species Survival Program, our goal is to increase every single visitors awareness of the importance of conservation worldwide. At every turn there is a lesson
to be learned.
